Chocolate Delight Body Wash
Chocolate Delight Body Wash
This luxurious yet fun body wash is a highly concentrated self preserving formulation made with a combination of surfactants, real cocoa powder, aloe vera, almond infusion, and scented with vanilla and cocoa absolute. The consistency varies depending on how the formula is processed. It can have a whipped mousse like texture, a firmly set texture, or a creamy texture. In terms of viscosity I would say it is semi-solid; in between a solid product and a liquid gel cleanser.
The formula gives instructions on how to make almond infusion. You will need a smoothie mixer or blender to do this the cold processed way. However, if you have the surfactants, water and glycerine and cocoa powder you can make this on the day you download the formula by simply substituting the other water based ingredients for water. I have made the product with and without aloe vera and almond infusion and it makes no material difference to how the body wash turns out. In one batch I hand stirred the formula and in another batch I used an overhead stirrer, and both came out as decadent, stable products. For small batches, you only really need scales, some beakers/bowls, a spoon, and double boiler to get started.
